Satya Nadella recently made headlines by telling reporters at an event in India using an iPad to work ”You need to get a real computer, my friend.”

It seems Apple was not willing to let that slight go lightly, and has responded brilliantly in a new ad, insisting not only that an iPad Pro is pretty capable of work, but also that it is the future of computing and that “computers” as we know them are now so old-fashioned children do not even know what they are, and as a second layer also cleverly asks why an iPad Pro should not be considered a real computer.

Of course, by using a child they do leave the door open for the claim that iPads are good enough for children, but adults need “a real computer” to do real work. We assume Apple’s next ad will address that point.
