Watch the Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration "Blood Ties" Trailer

To celebrate the 20 years of the iconic Lara Croft, Microsoft is releasing a new content update for Rise of the Tomb Raider on Xbox One and PC. They are adding “Blood Ties,” a completely new story chapter in which you’ll explore Croft Manor to reclaim Lara’s legacy. Then, you must defend the Manor against a zombie invasion in “Lara’s Nightmare.” They have also added the new “Extreme Survivor” difficulty setting, a 20 Year Celebration outfit and weapon, the ability to play as classic Lara models in the Expedition modes, and more. One of the biggest new additions is all-new Co-op play for Endurance mode which will be a free upgrade to everyone who has purchased Endurance as a standalone DLC or through Season Pass.

All of this content will be added to the Rise of the Tomb Raider Season Pass on October 11 and players who already own Season Pass receive all of the new content for free.  The Season Pass also includes the critically acclaimed single player story expansion, “Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch”, as well as “Cold Darkness: Awakened”, where players combat waves of infected predators in the Siberian wilderness.
