Three Ireland today announced that the carrier is bringing support for Carrier Billing to Windows Phone. If you use Three Ireland and own a Windows Phone, you will be able to make purchases from the Windows Store on Windows Phone 8.1 or Windows 10 Mobile using your prepay credit from Three:

Carrier billing is now available for both Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 phones. Microsoft Carrier Billing allows you to make purchases from the Microsoft Store on your Windows phone and charge the cost to your bill or deduct from your prepay credit – handy!

Carrier Billing is, indeed, quite useful if you don’t want to waste your time setting up a different payment method to buy apps or movies from the Windows Store. So, if you are a Three Ireland customer, make sure to try out carrier billing today on your Windows Phone!
