Elder Scrolls Online

Bethesda announced a new expansion for The Elder Scrolls Online last night that takes players to the Khajiiti homeland of Elsweyr.

The announcement for the expansion was made during a livestream and came with a shiny new cinematic trailer packed to the brim with excitement, action, and dragons. It also marks the first time players will have full access to Elsweyr since The Elder Scrolls: Arena back in 1994.

The Elder Scrolls Online Twitter have confirmed that The Season of the Dragon will be an ‘interconnected story’ that runs throughout the entire year. The expansion features the Wrathstone DLC dungeon pack, Elsweyr Chapter, and a currently unannounced DLC pack and DLC story zone.

The expansion also promises new stories, adventures, and challenges including a whole new zone to explore, the new Necromancer class, a new 12-player Trial named Sunspire, dragon attacks, and much more.

If you pre-purchase TESO: Elsweyr now, you’ll receive several unique rewards at launch, including the Noble Clan Chief costume, Blue Dragon Imp pet, treasure maps, a Baandari Pedlar Crown Crate, and experience scrolls. Digital pre-purchases on all platforms will also have exclusive immediate access to the Rahd-m’Athra mount.

While there are no plans for a physical collector’s edition of Elsweyr, you can pre-order a limited edition Elsweyr Vista Lithograph.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr will be available in Early Access on PC and Mac on May 20th and will be released fully on all platforms, including Xbox One and PlayStation 4, on June 4th.
