After the Belgian ISP Belgacom released their official Belgacom TV app for Windows Phone, Telenet – another Belgian ISP – announced that they are working hard to release a Yelo TV app for Windows Phone 8 devices. Yelo allows customers to view their favorite TV shows online or using one of the apps.

The Yelo TV app is already available for Windows 8, just like for Android and iOS. Telenet is planning to release the Windows Phone 8 app coming summer. In their press release they state that they’re working on a Windows Phone app because there was a growing demand for a Windows Phone version.

The Windows Phone app will include all features you would expect from Yelo. Included features:

  • live TV
  • schedule recordings and manage them

Customers of ‘Sporting Telenet’, ‘Rex’ or ‘Rio’ will be able to view their favorite shows on Windows Phone too.

Telenet is currently not planning to launch other Telenet apps like Triiing on Windows Phone.

You can download Yelo for Windows 8 in the Windows store.
