With the upcoming general availability of the Anniversary Update for Windows 10, Microsoft has been constantly updating its apps and services. Recently, the company has pushed numerous driver updates via Windows Update for users enjoying their Surface Book or Surface Pro 4.

These updates are already being released to users registered on the Fast and Release Preview rings for Windows 10, but it is currently unknown if the Production ring has seen these updates as of now. Here is the list of available updates:

  • Intel driver update for Intel Imaging Signal Processor 2500
  • Intel Corporation driver update for Microsoft Camera Rear
  • Intel Corporation driver update for Intel Control Logic
  • Intel Corporation driver update for Microsoft Camera Front
  • Intel Corporation driver update for Microsoft IR Camera Front
  • Intel Corporation driver update for Intel AVSTream Camera 2500
  • Intel Corporation driver update for Intel CSI2 Host Controller

Improvements to the reliability and stability of the cameras are implied, given the names of these updates. Windows Hello performance should also be improved.

Check the Surface Update History page for more information when it is available (these updates are not currently documented on the website).
