So…there is a new third-party Snapchat app for Windows 10 on the Windows Store. Specter is the new Snapchat app for Windows 10 which will allow users to use Snapchat on their Windows Phone.

The app is currently in its very early stages and does not pack a ton of features – yet. For now, here is what the app offers:

  • login with your existing account
  • send image messages
  • receive text, image and video messages

Keep in mind that this app may get your Snapchat account banned – so if you don’t want your account to get banned, don’t install it. The app will most likely get removed from the Windows Store as soon as Snapchat is aware of it. For now, let’s just hope the app stays in the Windows Store and improves over the coming months.

Get it for $1.49 from the Windows Store here.
