Microsoft has accidentally leaked the details of their Xbox Music Service via a Xbox Dashboard beta update currently available to testers.

Like the Zune Pass, the service will offer unlimited streaming for £8.99 per month or £89.90 per year.  Users will also need an Xbox Live Gold Subscription.

There will also be a ad-supported streaming service like Spotify and a scan and match locker service like iTunes.

A mysterious  “single tier dual subscription streaming service” has not been clarified yet.

A”Save To Playlist” feature in the Xbox interface implies playlists being synced to the cloud.

The Verge expects  the service to launch along Windows 8 on October 26th.
