Brazilian Santander customers have been waiting a rather long time for an app, such that they even have a 3rd party app there to access the bank.

Now Windowsteam.com.br reports that the company has finally given a deadline for when the app is expected to show up.

According to their twitter support Windows Phone using customers can expect an app in November, and while that is still quite a bit down the line, at least the company offered a date.

Unfortunately Santander has a history of breaking their promises in the past, promising an app in December 2014 and never delivering, but with the continuing growth of Windows Phone on Brazil (where it is the second operating system behind Android and which is the second largest Windows Phone market) we hope the company will deliver this time.
