imageThe Verge reports Microsoft is working on a new OneNote Capture service for Windows Phone and Windows 8 which was described by Microsoft’s Kirk Koenigsbauer as a "save it for later service" that works in the cloud.

On Windows Phone the app will be supported by an “Office Lens” app that lets users take a picture of a whiteboard then automatically scan and convert it using optical character recognition.

Microsoft is also working on a new Reader app for Windows, which we hope will also come to Windows Phone, which will support web pages, Office documents, PDFs, ebooks, and textbooks, and will feature reflowing of text, a very useful feature for Windows Phone.

The "Gemini" Office updates are expected to roll out during 2014 and beyond.
