While the Nokia Lumia 1520 is the most advanced Windows Phone, there is little doubt there are areas where it disappoints, particularly in video camera performance.

WindowsMania.pl reports that Nokia is pushing out a firmware update for the handset which brings it to 1028.3562.1402.00xx in EU and 1028.3534.1347.2001 in US.

The official changelog for the update only lists:

  • General fixes and improvements (General performance and usability improvements)

While not detailed I am sure both of these elements will be welcomed by Nokia Lumia 1520 owners, especially if video quality and performance is improved.

The update can already be found in the NCS and NSU, and should also soon become available over the air.
