Look what just popped up on WPBench, the benchmarking app for Windows Phone 7.

There is one single entry for the Nokia Lumia 610, labelled Nokia Lumia 610NFC, suggesting rather strongly the handset is sporting the near field wireless technology.

Another Windows Phone Tango device, the ZTE Orbit, also, according to the manufacturer, also has NFC, and Nokia is of course a strong proponent of the technology, with a number of accessories and most of their Symbian phones NFC enabled.

If Nokia does deliver a Nokia Lumia 610 soon with NFC, it would interestingly be the phone with WIFI internet sharing and NFC that is unable to multi-task. Hopefully Nokia will also consider adding the technology to their higher end handsets also.
