Introducing the new, revamped WMPoweruser!

Hey guys,

For the last couple of months, I’ve been working on a new, better and cleaner design for our website. The new design is better in almost every way, we’ve added a couple of new features and re-designed every element on the website. So what’s new?

A cleaner design

The new WMPU is much cleaner than the previous one. On our recent survey, a good amount of readers suggested us to put some more colors – so we’ve done that and we hope you will like the new colors on our site. We’ve completely redesigned the website – from reviews to the articles, every single element on the website has been re-designed to suit modern web design. As always, the design is responsive and looks perfect on every browser.

Let’s go dark

Dark? Yes, dark. You can now switch to a dark interface on our website! No, you don’t need to create an account, just click on the gear icon on the top right-hand side of the navigation and choose the theme for our site. The dark theme of our site makes every element on the site dark, even the share buttons 🙂

Community Guidelines

Lately, the amount of trolls and spam has been increased in our articles’ discussion. We try our best to make sure that the discussions on our articles are troll, spam and abuse free. So please ensure that you follow this guidelines before commenting on our articles or forum:

• Be polite – don’t be rude to anyone and respect others.
• Don’t troll or fight.
• Spam? Goodbye.

Once again: don’t be rude, troll or fight with other readers, be polite to every reader and the moderators. If you don’t follow any of these guidelines, our moderators will remove the comment, we may also ban you from participating in the discussions.

If you find any comment that is spam, abusing or doesn’t follow our guideline, please make sure to ‘flag’ or ‘mark as spam’ it – our moderators highly appreciate your support!

That’s not all!

We’ve stopped there. A handful of our readers suggested adding an easily accessible search box, so we’ve added a new search box on the navigation! We’ve also added a drop down to the navigation items which display the latest article. We’ve recently upgraded our servers as well and the site loads much faster now. And last but not least is the support for GIFs!
