Microsoft today released a new patch for Windows 10 PCs. The company today released KB3140741, which apparently brings some stability improvements for Windows 10 Version 1511. Microsoft’s Support page states:

This update makes stability improvements for Windows 10 Version 1511 servicing stack. If you are installing a servicing stack update package for the first time, the package for the x86 version is 5 MB and the package for the x64 version is 11 MB.

As you can see, the update is quite small as the x86 version is only 5MB and the x64 version is 13 MB. Additionally, it is worth noting that this update doesn’t require you to restart your PC either.

To get the latest update, head over to Settings > Update & Security and check for updates. Happy downloading!
