We are all pretty used to seeing fake Windows Phone starts screens on Android handsets, but what if for once we are offered the reverse?

Kitkat launcher is an app which brings the Android Kitkat home screen in most of its glory to Windows Phone.

That means multiple pages of apps that you can swipe left or right on, search bars on the screen and even a dialler.

If you want to feel fully immersed. the developer also suggests using the new WP8.1 Update 1 App Corner feature to lock yourself into the app.

imageThe developer actually did a pretty good job with the free app, though for more “advanced features” such as the dialler you have to purchase the Pro Feature Pack.
