All Deutsche Telekom Windows phone 7 smartphones will come with a free copy of Navigon Select Telekom Edition, which unlike most carrier navigation solutions store the maps locally, so no data connection is needed to load the maps.

M4gic.net published the above video of the software in action.

The solution comes with maps for Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein, and the same software on the iPhone offers in-vehicle navigation with 2D map view, precise spoken navigation directions and points of interest searches using Google Local Search, automatic switching between day and night mode and switches from portrait to landscape mode as required.
