More Than 7 Million Copies Of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Sold On Xbox 360 So Far

Today Activision announced that about 12 million of copies of Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 3 game copies were sold throughout the world. This is approximately equal to estimated $738 million from direct sales. This marks the record sales ever in the history of entertainment. The good news for Microsoft is that over 7 million copies of the sold game copies were for Xbox platform. This leaves the remaining 5 million number of Sony, Nintendo and PC gaming platforms.
