Microsoft to launch Surface Pro 4 in India on January 7th

There have been acouple of rumours about the Surface Pro 4 coming to India in the past few weeks. Today, however, Microsoft made it official: the Surface Pro 4 is coming to India on January 7th. The software giant today sent out invites to the press for the device’s launch event in New Delhi:
As you can see on the above press invite, the company is holding the event at 11:30 a.m. on January 7th. For now, there is no word on pricing and availability for the device – however, according to previous reports, the Surface Pro 4’s entry-level variant will be priced at Rs. 67,999, and the top variant will be priced at Rs. 1,32,999:
- 128GB / Intel Core m3 – 4GB RAM – Rs. 67,999
- 128GB / Intel Core i5 – 4GB RAM – Rs. 74,999
- 256GB / Intel Core i5 – 8GB RAM – Rs. 95,999
- 256GB / Intel Core i7 – 8GB RAM – Rs. 1,18,499
- 256GB / Intel Core i7 – 16GB RAM – Rs. 1,32,999
