Microsoft today announced the new Windows Phone Dev Center formerly known as App Hub with much improved experience for developers and publishers. Along with this update, Microsoft quietly rebranded Windows Phone Marketplace into Windows Phone Store. Windows 8 already features “Windows Store”, so Windows Phone 8 having “Windows Phone Store” makes perfect sense. It will be much clear for consumers as well. Even though Microsoft is rebranding its Marketplace name, OEMs like Nokia are already changing Marketplace icon with their own name and icon.

What do you think of this rebranding?

Thanks to Slave for the heads up.
