Microsoft finalizes SwiftKey acquisition

Microsoft today announced that they have completed the acquisition of SwiftKey. SwiftKey software keyboard and SDK powers more than 300 million Android and iOS devices. Microsoft will continue to develop SwiftKey’s keyboard apps for Android and iOS as well as explore scenarios for the integration of the core technology across the breadth of Microsoft’s product and services portfolio. Microsoft is also looking to integrate SwiftKey technology with their Word Flow technology for Windows in the coming months.
