Nokia-WP8-vs-WP78SmartphoneFrance has managed to lay their hands on a leaked internal Nokia document which specifies exactly which features from Windows Phone 8 will be coming to Windows Phone 7.8.

Unfortunately there are no good surprises, with the only unannounced feature which may come to Windows Phone 7.8 being the new customizable lock screen.

Features which will not be coming to Windows Phone 7.8 include:

  • Over-the-air updates
  • Support for screen resolutions higher than WVGA
  • Internet Explorer 10
  • Multi-core processor support
  • Windows Phone Wallet
  • NFC
  • Real multitasking
  • MicroSD card support
  • Device Management
  • Company Hub
  • Secure Boot and Encryption

The list is of course far from comprehensive, and misses features such as settings back-up to SkyDrive.

Of the lot I suspect IE10 will be the one that will be most missed by current Windows Phone 7.5 users. Do our readers agree? Let us know below.
