Three months ago we wrote that slow motion video was coming to Windows Phone, with Microsoft confirming “variable frame rate” in Windows 10 Mobile at WinHec.

Now in the latest emulator build of W10M (Build 10158) it has finally been confirmed in the OS, with the new camera app featuring the ability to record video up to 120 frames per second.

Of course we do not know yet if this will be available on all handsets, or will require higher end devices with new hardware.

The emulator also showed the camera will feature Rich Capture by default and transparent live tiles for the Store and Edge tiles.

Keep an eye on the site for more Windows 10 news.
