imageWe expect HTC to reveal their Windows Phone 8 range in just a few hours, but in the run up to the event WPDang has taken the opportunity to milk their sources one more time.

They claim from their sources that HTC will be announcing two handsets; the HTC Accord with 720p screen and the HTC Rio with a WVGA screen.  The low-end/high end combo echoes Nokia’s strategy, and they also reveal that HTC’s handsets will be similarly colourful, and besides the leaked purple version, will also be available in pink, and come with a range of matched accessories.

The bad news is that the super-high end HTC Zenith with Quad core processor apparently does not exist yet, and will obviously not make it to the announcement.

Windows Phone 8X (HTC Accord) is set to sport a 720p resolution 4.3-inch HD screen, built-in a Qualcomm Krait Framework 1.5GHz processor, 16GB storage, 1GB RAM , 8 megapixels rear camera , and supports 1080P HD video.

The Windows Phone 8S (HTC Rio) will have  a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8227 Krait framework 1GHz processor, Adreno 305 GPU , a 4 inch WVGA resolution (800*480 pixels) screen, carrying a 5 megapixel camera which supports HD video 720p.
