We had a hands-on with the Acer W4 at IFA 2011 in Berlin.

The handset looks surprisingly good in real life, especially in white, but still feels cheaper than the HTC Radar.  It is as responsive as any other Windows Phone 7 handset, but sticks pretty closely to the minimum specs, with a 1 Ghz processor, 3.6 inch screen, 5 megapixel camera and 8 GB of storage.

The handset does however have DLNA, and has an interesting Media Remote app, who’s function is still unclear.

The settings page also reveals that the Acer W4 is also called the Acer M310 internally, clearing up one mystery product name.  The Acer M310 is said to have HDMI out, but we saw no sign of this.

Interestingly the handset features Acer FastCharge, meaning the phone will charge twice as fast as normal if connected to a Acer laptop or PC.

See some pictures after the break.
