While most Windows Phone users are enjoying the latest WP8.1.1 update, HTC users continue to wait, or in the case of the HTC 8s, have to give up waiting.
The initial update was released on August 4th this year, adding Folders, App Corner, and many other great tools. But as I mentioned HTC users haven’t received the update due to driver issues.
While I was pretty annoyed (as a HTC 8x owner) that I didn’t receive the update, I am consoled by the new HTC One M8 for Windows. My only worry is that issues like this may arise again on the M8.
Are any readers hesitant to get the HTC One M8 for Windows after this? Will other HTC users be switching to another OEM for better support?
