We have seen many kickstarter projects for smart watches. Most of them are not fully compatible with Windows Phone as they are for Android and iOS. Gnomio has now started a new project for a smart watch that is exclusively for Windows Phone devices. It will feature the following,
- Notification of incoming and missed calls
- SMS and email notification
- Facebook and Twitter messages
- Calendar reminders, timer
- Weather
- The player controls
- Reminders of low battery charge smartphone
- Search feature phone
The device will be based on Windows Embedded Compact 7 and will allow external developers to write app for it. You can fund the project and reserve your device.
Buying in cost $81, and the team promises delivery by April 2013, which seems somewhat of an aggressive time scale. Â They are trying to raise $100,000 which is a rather high bar.
