Microsoft’s Gestures and Touch applet for Windows 10 Mobile devices received a small update through the Windows store.

The app, which provides a series of settings designed to add limited gesture capabilities to Windows 10 Mobile devices, lost a feature many users valued in the cross-over to Windows 10 Mobile -flip to silence.

In the latest update, Microsoft has re-added this feature to Windows 10 Mobile, but there’s a catch, no newer Lumia is capable of running flip to silence. Users with the 950, 650 and we presume the 550 as well are not able to make use of the new feature.

Perhaps owing due to the missing hardware in the new devices or lack of optimization, whatever the reason, Microsoft’s newer Lumias are once again lacking a feature that used to  be standard.
