We’ll forgive you if you’re not familiar with Exertis, a U.K based distribution company and service provider, but you may remember the gaming tablet that the company showcased at this years BUILD conference. The company has just been named Microsoft OEM Device Partner of the Year for it’s Linx tablet brand. To nab the award at the annual Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards, the company had to beat out more than 2,500 other OEM brands from 119 countries across 37 award categories.

The company, which released its first Microsoft based tablets in 2014, just months after partnering up with the tech giant, is now the best selling OEM brand in the UK, with Microsoft holding 34% of the market there.

“Bringing our innovative range of tablets to market in record time, becoming the best-selling Windows-based tablet in the UK and establishing Linx as a successful brand in both the consumer and B2B space has been an incredible journey.
Our relationship with Microsoft at all levels has been instrumental in the success of Linx and we look forward to expanding the range both in the UK and other geographies.”
