Cherry Mobile announce the Windows 10 Alpha Prime 4 and 5

The Philippines’s largest local OEM, Cherry Mobile, has announced two new Windows phones running Windows 10 Mobile on their Facebook page.

The handsets appear to be a new generation of Windows Reference Design devices with upgraded Snapdragon 210 processors, but the specs remain otherwise familiar.

The lower-end Alpha Prime 4 features:

Snapdragon 8909
1.1Ghz Quad Core
4-inch Screen
WCDMA 900/2100
FDD-LTE B1/B3/B5/B7
5mp Main Camera
2mp Front Camera
4gb ROM
512mb RAM

The HD-screened Alpha Prime 5 features:

Snapdragon 8909
1.1Ghz Quad Core
5-inch Screen
WCDMA 900/2100
FDD-LTE B1/B3/B5/B7
8mp Main Camera
2mp Front Camera
8gb ROM
1gb RAM

It is not known when the handsets will come to market, but of course Windows 10 Mobile would need to launch first in any case.
