Hololens Galaxy Explorer

At Build 2016, Microsoft Studios team announced that they have completed the development of Galaxy Explorer app for HoloLens. This app is now available in Windows Store and as promised the full source code for Galaxy Explorer app is now available on Github.

Last month, Microsoft asked the community to share ideas for how holographic computing will transform the world. Over 5000 ideas were shared by people around the world. Microsoft Studios development team reviewed the most successful and viable ideas and offered to build one of them. After a 24-hour Twitter poll, HoloLens development team of designers, artists, and developers decided to build “Galaxy-Explorer” app. Microsoft will be sharing the project updates every week and once they are done, the will open source the code so the HoloLens community can start building from it.
