Another Report Claims That Selfie Focused Mid-range Lumia WP8.1 Device Is Coming Soon

Back in April, we reported that Microsoft is working on a selfie focused Windows Phone 8.1 device that will be released later this year. The device which is being developed under the codename ‘Superman’ will feature a 5MP front cam will be a 4.7-inch mid-range Windows Phone device that will be released during the release of second update for Windows Phone 8.1 in later part of 2014.

Today, NokiaPowerUser reported that this device will be Lumia 720’s successor with product codes RM-983, RM-984 and RM-985. The device is expected to be revealed at the end of August and will be initially coming to Verizon and AT&T in the US followed by global roll-out.

NPU claims that this device may have 5-inch, 720p display, Quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 8 MP Carl-Zeiss rear camera with low-light improvements, a “big selfie cam” in front and it will run Windows Phone 8.1 GDR1 out of the box.
