ABB is one of the world’s biggest providers of power and automation technologies located in Finland. ABB Finland has deployed Nokia Lumia smartphones for about 2200 employees. The deployed Lumias include Lumia 920, Lumia 925, Lumia 520, Lumia 620 and Lumia 720.
“One important reason for choosing different devices is cost,” says ABB’s Interim Country CIO, Esa Pigg. “Lumia has several models and price categories and they all give you the same platform and same apps for a very reasonable price. We can now give our end-users much more than in the past, with the same budget. This is very good development.”
