LG launched Windows Mobile application store

lgappstore2 lgappstore LG has launched an application store for their Windows Mobile phones, with a catalogue of 1400 tested apps, which LG hopes to expand to 2000 by the end of the year.  Initially aimed at the Asia Pacific region, the service will first be offered in countries such as Singapore, Malaysia and Australia and will reach Europe and the South America by the end of this year.

To access the LG Application Store, users can either visit www.lgapplication.com and download applications to a computer or directly access the shop from LG-GM730 by flicking horizontally on the “Quick Key Box” at the bottom of the home screen and tapping the App icon.

Developers interested in adding to LG’s catalogue can visit developer.lgmobile.com where they can download SDK’s and have access to virtual devices such recently made available by Samsung.

LG is also set to launch a movie, music and game service soon where owners can buy content directly for their devices.
