Pandora hates Windows Mobile, what to do?

Pandora, the personalized music streaming service, has been widely available on mobile devices from Sprint and AT&T for some time now. In fact more than 33 phones in total are supported, mostly dumb phones phones, but the client also recently made a high-profile appearance on the iPhone too. In all the time, and over all the phones served, there has never been a windows mobile client, despite great demand and even a promise in May 2007 that one was coming soon.

So given the fact that Pandora is refusing to serve millions of Windows Mobile users, what are we to do. Fortunately there is an alternative service. Last.FM, a music service that monitor your play lists and then streams music you like based on your preferences, has had a mobile client out since early this year. While not as graphically polished as Pandora, and still in development, the software has some tricks that Pandora has not, such as being able to scrobble the music you play, even on your Windows Mobile phone. The client also streams internationally, while Pandora is confined to only two carriers (Sprint and AT&T) and only available in USA.
