Qik, a service which allows users of symbian phones to stream video taken by their phone camera to the web, has now announced their intention to expand the service to Windows Mobile devices.  They have already demonstrated the software on a Samsung Blackjack, and intend to release the software for general use in a few months.

This news is especially significant in the UK, where video calling is absent from 3G mobile phones, and also brings a new element of video blogging of live events which has only previously been possible with much more expensive hardware.
