Samsung Louvre – first pictures

GPSAndCo has published the first pictures of the mysterious Samsung B7610 Louvre, Samsung’s high-end landscape slider that has been rumoured since January this year.

The 4 row slider, as is usual these days, pretty well specified, with a 3.5 inch AMOLED WVGA screen, 5 megapixel camera with image stabilization and the usual HSDPA, wifi, bluetooth and GPS, all packed into only 1.6 cm thickness. It also features 1 GB Flash built in and a microSD slot, and Samsung seems to finally have abandoned their proprietary connector, opting for the more common miniUSB.

While the smartphone will still run Windows Mobile 6.1 it will feature Samsung’s usual overlay, and will be upgradable to Windows Mobile 6.5.

The smartphone is expected soon, and should be available in July on Orange Business and SFR Business Team. The device is expected to be aggressively priced at between €250  and €500
