According to Engadget Mobile, the Iolite will take a step back from the VGA display we have grown so fond of and will be sporting a WQVGA screen, which does come as a bit of a dissapointment. I guess you can’t win them all.

There is no word yet on pricing or when you might be able to make this handset your very own, but we can’t help but think it won’t be too terribly long before this device get’s the nod and becomes available to the masses. There is surely more to be revealed on the HTC Iolite in the coming weeks and mspoweruser.com will be certain to keep you in the know.

Head to Engadget Mobile, Cellpassion and of course Expansys for more information, and many Thanks to all three for bringing this to our attention.
