Recently, we did a Blind Camera Test with the Lumia 640 XL, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and the iPhone 6 Plus. So far, we’ve received more than 24,406 votes altogether. So which phone is which?
- Phone A is Microsoft Lumia 640 XL
- Phone B is Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge
- Phone C is Apple iPhone 6 Plus
Set 1:
4,612 people voted on Set 1 and 37% voted for Phone A, 41% for Phone B and Phone C 22%.
Winner: Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge (Phone B) with 41% votes
Set 2:
4,171 people voted on Set 2 and 59% voted for Phone A (Lumia 640 XL), 36% for Phone B (S6 Edge) and 6% for Phone C (iPhone 6 Plus).
Winner: Microsoft Lumia 640 XL (Phone A) with 59% votes
Set 3:
3,996 people voted on Set 3 and 31% voted for Phone A (Lumia 640 XL), 38% for Phone B (S6 Edge) and 31% for Phone C (iPhone 6+).
Winner: Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge (Phone B) with 38% votes
Set 4:
825 people voted on Set 4 and 51% voted for Phone A (Lumia 640 XL), 24% for Phone B (S6 Edge) and 25% for Phone C (iPhone 6+).
It’s worth noting that after realising that the Phone A and Phone C had the same pictures, we’ve reset the poll and updated the picture so that it doesn’t impact the results.

Set 5:
3,750 people voted on Set 5and 40% voted for Phone A (Lumia 640 XL), 45% for Phone B (S6 Edge) and 15% for Phone C (iPhone 6+).
Winner: Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge (Phone B) with 45% votes
Set 6:
3,689 people voted on Set 6 and 50% voted for Phone A (Lumia 640 XL), 17% for Phone B (S6 Edge) and 33% for Phone C (iPhone 6+).
Winner: Microsoft Lumia 640 XL (Phone B) with 50% votes
Set 7:
3,363 people voted on Set 7 and 13% voted for Phone A (Lumia 640 XL), 27% for Phone B (S6 Edge) and 60% for for Phone C (iPhone 6+).
Winner: Apple iPhone 6 Plus (Phone C) with 60% votes
Looks like it’s a draw – yes, the S6 Edge won 3 sets and the Lumia 640 XL won 3 sets as well. Looking at the total number of votes, the Lumia 640 XL was ahead with 9526 votes (39%) followed by the Samsung Galaxy S6 at 8832 votes (34%) with the iPhone 6+ at the rear with 6508 votes (27%).
